Advanced Master in Sensors, Geolocation and Navigation

This Master trains engineers in the design, commissioning and maintenance of technological systems used in the fields of radar, electronic warfare (radar/communication), optronic warfare (countermeasures, decoys), inertial navigation systems, geolocation, complex navigation systems, sensor guidance and use systems, information fusion and choice of sensors.

The main activities in the field of SGN are:

  • the engineering of systems linked to those fields;
  • the design of elements and systems;
  • the exploitation of elements and systems;
  • project management;
  • research, development and innovation.

Graduates of this Advanced Master interact with or manage a project team. They are capable of designing all or part of a system in this field. Starting from customer requirements, they propose a system architecture and dimension the elements of the architecture. They are able to pilot the creation and maintenance of this type of system. During their career, they hold the positions of project manager in this field and technical expert.
